Pool Cover Source offers a 3 year basic warranty on this product to the original purchaser from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. During this period Pool Cover Source will repair or replace, at our discretion, the defective component.

This warranty does not apply to improperly installed, handled, abused, damaged by user error, nor to any unit which has been repaired or altered by unauthorized repair companies. Under no circumstances will the buyer be entitled to consequential or incidental damages. This limited 3 year basic warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state where you live. Batteries and plastic housings are not covered by warranty.

This item ships via FedEx or UPS (depending on your zip code). Once shipped, you will receive a tracking # via the email address you provide. Ground shipments usually arrive within 2-5 business days. Please inspect the package when it arrives to review if damage occurred during shipping. If a box is crushed, wet or severely damaged, reject the shipment and do not sign for it. New from Rule Pool Systems comes the finest pool cover pump ever designed. Rule, the worldwide leader in submersible pump technology, has developed this pump in conjunction with leading pool cover manufacturers.

This system features a powerful 1800 gallon per hour automatic submersible pump with a specially designed strainer base that filters out leaves and debris. Water doesn't stand a chance against it! Just attach a standard garden hose and plug in the pump. Starting and stopping is completely automatic. The pump will continuously monitor the water level on the cover and when enough water enters the bottom of the pump, the pump turns on and removes it. The pump also features freeze protection, so ice will not hurt it. You can leave it on all winter long. Use it wherever standing water accumulates!

This Rule Automatic Pool Cover Pump turns on and checks for water approximately every 2 and a half minutes. During this "check," the pump runs for about one second and checks for resistance or drag against the impeller. If resistance (water) is found, it will run for as long as water is present. When all the water is pumped out, the pump shuts off and returns to its 2 and a half minute test cycle. The pump can be started at any time by disconnecting it from the power source, waiting for 5 seconds and reconnecting it to the power source.
